Our Vision for Regeneration
Sunflower Regenerative Community is an intentional community dedicated to regenerating the land and fostering a diverse, connected living environment. We host events and workshops that not only nurture our community but also inspire regenerative practices beyond our borders.

Community Offerings
The SRC is located just into Erie from Lafayette off highway 7--the SW corner of Erie and just 5 minutes from downtown Lafayette. We have 5 bedrooms, including one we often keep as a guest room, and function best when 6 folks live here. Following are rooms available now! We use this application for all of them.
Live at Sunflower
The Sovereign Suite
Largest room, big loft, private bathroom. COUPLE preferred.
This is the largest room in the house, burmed into the land on the east side and getting the most beautiful morning light. It has a loft that fits a king-sized bed, so folks often sleep up there and use the main level for living space. It has a private bathroom with standing shower. $1400 + utilities + shared items.

The Nook
Smallest room, opens to the common space, shared bathroom. One person, trade for part of rent possible.

This is the smallest room and is often populated for shorter periods of time. It's burmed into the land on the east side of the house, has one small window, a bed, dresser, and shelves. $500 + utilities + shared items. It is possible to trade part of rent for farm or carpentry work.

Shared spaces
The 3,000 square foot house, straw bale studio, three-car maker space garage, and two acres of land is mostly shared space.
We have a great room with two gathering areas plus the kitchen; a sunroom with large dining table and library plus seed planting area; a foyer with bench, small couch, and plant propagation; a garage with forge and carpentry, plus storage for each member.

The land and animals
Pesticides have never been used on the property, and we follow the norms of permaculture and regeneration.
We have perennial gardens and a variety of food growing plots. Our residents choose what to grow and adopt areas to tend. We all share the tasks associated with growing and regenerating the land over time. We have two dogs and a hypoallergenic cat and have had both chickens and ducks. We are in consistent negotiation with the burgeoning coyote population.
